It’s that time of year again: The City of Calabasas is proud to host the annual summer concert series at Calabasas Lake, which kicks off this Sunday and promises outdoor fun for the entire community.
“Beatles vs. Stones — A Musical Shoot Out” is the first exciting performance, planned for June 9. It will feature tribute bands Abbey Road and Jumping Jack Flash. All concerts will begin at 6 p.m. and are free to the public. The performance will take place on the Greenbelt at Calabasas Lake. The entrance is at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center located at 23400 Park Sorrento.

Guests are invited to bring picnics, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the free seating on the grass field. Limited chaired seating is available for those in need and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. In addition to the parking available at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center, a Park and Ride option will be offered from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Calabasas Inn (23500 Park Sorrento).
Also, be sure to catch the upcoming performances in July, August and September. On July 14, Calabasas will host Ronnie & the Classics, featuring an evening of rock ‘n’ roll classics from the 1950s and 60s. The August 11 concert will include songs from Neil Diamond’s 40-year career by tribute band Fantastic Diamond. Guests will enjoy Latin Pop and Modern Jazz performed by the ensemble Quattro, joined by renowned trumpet player Ilya Sergienko.
